The lies of the fries

Here’s another story I told someone to mess with them.
While working in Tampa I was chatting with a couple of coworkers and the subject of French Fries came up. Here’s where my mind worked into overtime:
I told them that French Fries didn’t originally come from France. They were names after the French’s mustard company that created them.
You should have heard them, “Really?!”
I couldn’t contain the laughter.

That’s true. Most people think they came from France, but convincing someone they came from a mustard company was so worth it!
